THE FRENCH-SPEAKING ORDER OF ATTORNEYS AT THE BRUSSELS BAR and THE DUTCH-SPEAKING ORDER OF ATTORNEYS AT THE BRUSSELS BAR constitute the first and second bars of Belgium respectively in terms of the number of their members.

Published jointly by these two orders, the "Tableau" is the official book which accompanies lawyers at all times throughout the year. It contains:

• In a monolingual area:
  • Useful information (addresses of everything concerning Justice in Brussels and at the federal level);
• In a bilingual area:
  • The official directory of lawyers of the two Brussels lists
  • The composition of the boards of the two orders
  • The tables of the two orders (F and NL) of attorneys in Brussels
  • All information concerning legal aid, vocational training, official appointments
  • The list of trainee lawyers, fees, foreign nationals registered in Brussels
  • The list of associations, specialisations and lawyers by preferential activities

All lawyers in Brussels receive the "Tableau" free of charge by post and use it constantly, from one to ten times a day! Furthermore, many provincial lawyers also obtain a copy (though they have to pay for it).
